I realized the David and I have the same exact nose.

I don't know why David has the Reardon nose.

I had something else to write, but now I forget what it was. Ah, well.

Today Jay is out riding his motorcycle with Brian. On days when I have nothing to do and Jay is away, I have all these opportunities to do many different things, but then I get overwhelmed with my options and I usually take a nap. That's what I did. So now I'm trying to clean the condo up. As you can see, I get sidetracked easily. I was in the middle of laundry and I walked past the computer and thought, "Hmm, I haven't put a blog up." So here one is, folks. Now, off to eat something and trying to mop.

Must....
do....

chores!

We looked at this house last night, and it was nice.

I'm sure most people who visit me here know about Alley Central, Matt's creation that has brought the alley together once again. Simple web address: alleyparty.com. And if you to to Ofoto.com, we've put up some albums from recent alley parties. Please visit. It's fun.

Last night Jay and I went out to West Brookfield for my brother Dave (pictured) and his fiance's Jack and Jill Shower. It was at Ye Olde Tavern, the oldest-operating tavern in the United States. It was my first time at a Jack and Jill Shower, so I didn't really know what to expect. It's pretty much a big party, in reality. There was a buffet (the chicken was delicious), there was a raffle (the proceeds go the couple), there was karaoke (Dave rocked the house with "Ice Ice Baby"), there was dancing.

Today Jay and I drove around with our realtor and looked at a bunch of houses in the Framingham/Ashland/Natick area. We got a good idea of what's out there. So what is out there, you ask? There's small bathrooms.

Went to Dennis' last night for a surprise barbeque party for a guy I don't know. I ended up sleeping on the couch (party pooper) until 4am. Dennis was still awake (party wide-awaker) and playing cards... I felt the need to get amovin' home.

So today I just loafed around, watching the Olympics on TV. I fell asleep alot and ate some foods. After seeing a commercial for Subway, I really wanted a Subway sub. But I just stayed home and loafed. That, kids, is my exciting life...

Jay is away at Saco this weekend, so he got me a sunflower and told me to think of him every time I look at it. So that's pretty much my visual representation of that request.

While Jay is away, I find myself with lots of time. Time I take naps with, time I eat steak with, time I go to metal shows with. Thursday night a strange something-or-other took me over and I ended up cleaning. Say what?? I even did some laundry. Nuh-uh, sistah!! I'm now glad I did because all our clothes are no longer on the basement floor - the floor which I am 98% certain will flood what with Charley coming to visit and all. What I don't understand is that if people have ample warning that a massive and deadly storm is going to hit them, why don't they go somewhere else? My dad pointed out that it's mostly all elderly people, so then I felt bad. If only old people were more mobile...

Speaking of my dad, today is my parent's 33rd anniversary. That's so long there's not even a traditional gift designated for that number! Actually, I just said that for effect; I saw that amethyst is it. I see that orchids are the 28th... methinks my dad must have started his orchid hobby around their 28th... hmmm. I can't wait until me and Jay hit the 24th year.

New pictures, new dog

I finally sort of figured out how to post pictures, so now my blog will be that much more exciting! We've got some news regarding the alley family - our neighbor Bill has a sort of brand new puppy! The folks down at the end of the alley actually owned it, but we kept seeing him tied to the rearview mirror of their car out in the heat and sun with no food/water... So Bill kept at the guy, offering to take the pup off their hands. So last night I get a call from Mr. Bill Whitsett saying that he's got a new dog! This picture actually isn't the puppy, but it's what he'll look like when he gets older. (This is a pic of our neighbor Nick's friendly and obedient pup, Cash.)

Last night we went to see Cuddy's improv show at ImprovBoston. Good times were had by all... it was Jay, Erik, Dennis, and I. The show was TheatreSports, and there were two teams who did competitive improv. One team was "from" Weymouth (the away team that Cuddy was on) and one was "from" the Somerville/Cambridge/Arlington axis of awesome. Dennis became upset when he learned that the teams really weren't from those respective towns, but are actually all part of the same troupe. Sorry, D... But the great thing about ImprovBoston is you can bring your own beer in. Just ask Jay.
